Altered books... here I come!

Well, so far this week I have had 3 days off. It has been very strange, I won't lie, not to be at work all the time. Since I have had the time off I think my body is finally catchin up with itself and I have been kinda sick the last day or so. With the extra time, when I wasn't looking for more work I have been gettin down with my artsy self. I am making what is called an altered book. Its when you take a book that is pretty old and you either add, or subtract to the insides of the book. Generally this is done with ripping pages out, adding pictures, stamps, wire, random stuff and pretty much whatever else you can think of to put on the pages. I am doing one right now that is kind of a collage documentary of the last few years of my life. Haha. So far it is going well and I am enjoying having some time to create. I used to do it all the time but haven't for quite a while. I will have to add some photos of what I have so far, but it wont be today. Hope all is well for everyone out there in the world.
