Where oh Where did my Summer go?!?
Holy cow! Where have the last few months gone? Summer just flew by, now I'm back in school. Well, sort of. I ended up having to have my left foot reconstructed about a week and a half ago so I have been pretty laid up. Work and school are kind of on hold. I'm just doing what class work I can from home.
Not a whole lot has changed it seems, but at the same time some things have. I started dating someone. His name is Chris. I really like him a lot. He has given me a promise ring and we have had some pretty intense discussions on building a life together. Its pretty exciting. He is a really sweet guy. I keep wondering if its all a big joke but so far no one has confessed. ha ha. Anyway, I will keep y'all posted on that one. Nothing else really however is new. I guess in ways that's a good thing. Hope everyone out there is doing well.

In Retrospect!
Another month has come and gone.... and so has another semester. I am proud to say that I have survived, for the most part. I have two finals left to go and then I will be enjoying the much needed break from school for a while. I have to hand it to those who do summer semester.
Things have been crazy in my life, like they pretty much always are. I look back and think about all the things I have to be thankful for. I really have come a long way in the last year. This time last year I had just left my husband who used me as a punching bag. Now I am proud to say I have just finished another year of college, I am working full time and have been promoted twice in the last 2 months. Things are actually going pretty well. Lets hope they continue to do so.

April vs. Celeste
I have come to the conclusion that April is really not my favorite month. For the most part, April just really sucks in my world. Of course there is still another 12 days in the month, so I guess I shouldn't judge just yet, however, as the magic 8 ball says "outlook not so good". I'm really hoping to be proven wrong on this one. I would really like to get back on good terms with April.

Random Thought
Sunday, the representation of the end of a week, and the start of a new one. Hopefully this next week is better than the last.

Vampires beware!
I just wanted to let all those in cyberspace who read this know... I had a good day today. I went to the Hurricane IHC and did my first day of student work in the Phlebotomy lab. It was really nice to get to finally see how what I have been trying to learn actually works in the real world. It was also nice to build a bit of confidence and see that, yes, I can stick people with needles... and not in a voodoo sort of way. Thanks to all those lab people who I got to know today. I will see you again later in the week!
